Canadian Inquisition Trivia League
A truly challenging face-to-face trivia experience, the Canadian Inquisition Trivia League is a league of teams who compete Monday nights at various Toronto pubs. The Inquisition League has been operating in Toronto for more than 30 years, and – post-pandemic – is rebooted, rebuilding and adding new teams.
Canada’s most eclectic league – run by the players – the Inquisition League’s ranks have included journalists, techs, editors, students, academics, comics, musicians, authors and others looking to test their trivia knowledge and have a few laughs.

Games are on Monday nights at 7:30 at various pubs in the downtown area. You’re welcome to drop by and say hello. No shouting out answers!!

This season is brought to you by MI5
Summer 2026 schedules are out (thank you Mark!). Click ‘schedules’ above
- Regular season goes from May 4 to July 13, with NO game on Victoria Day.
- Finals scheduled for Monday July 20th at the Tranzac.
- This season, you are asked again to pay $10 for games 1 and 10 (all other games, $5 of course). This little bit extra helped increase reserves to a healthier level last season.
Thanks John, Mark and Ranji for also increasing the reserves with your generous donations to the league
Captains! Updated Subs list is out (thank you Lisa). Use it!! Subs will get more involved if they’re more involved (if you know what I mean).
This summer season, MI5 has been relegated but are setting the questions. Night Owls are promoted and Unnatural Axxxe return from setting questions to play in the Jaworski Division.

Winter 2026 Final round up
It’s never a surprise when the Irregulars win the Final – but it’s always well-deserved!! Well played, all, well played!
It wasn’t exactly a nail-biter, but victory was never a sure thing even as the Irregulars increased their lead bit by bit throughout the game – only to seal the deal in the Challenge round.
Kudos to the Mods and the Owls for just keeping up. And pats on the back to Ralph of the Mods and Eric of the Irregulars for their high scores (8 deuces!).
And finally, congrats to Smith and Guessin’ for winning the Audience Prize (and sweeping pretty much everything else – Stinker, Canadiana etc.).
A big ‘Thank you’ to the Unnatural Axxxe for a great season!
